Torti Zghar tal-Qarabaghli u t-Tadam

Ingredjenti - Ghal 6 Persuni

• Ghagina 'shortcrust' maghmula minn 250g dqiq wholemeal,
• 125g dqiq plain,
• 175g margerina,
• 3-4mgharef ilma kiesah.
• Mgharfa zejt taz-zebbuga
• Basla mqatta'
• Sinna tewm imqatta' rqiq.
• Bzaru ahmar, imqatta' strixxi
• 175g (6 oz) qarabaghli mqatta' roti rqaq
• 4 tadamiet imqatta'
• Mgharfa merqdux
• Mgharfa habaq
• Kuccarina coriander
• Bzar u melh
• Bajda (jew sostitut tal-bajd)
• 75ml (3 fl oz) single cream;
• 50g (2 oz) gobon (jekk tiggosta)



Metodu

L-Ghagina

Oghrok il-margerina mad-dqiq kollu go skutella kbira sakemm it-tahlita tigi qisha frakk tal-hobz.
Zid l-ilma u hawwad sakemm ghagina issir soda.
Poggi l-ghagina fuq wicc miksi bid-dqiq u ahdimha sakemm tigi lixxa.


It-Torti

Ifrex l-ghagina u iksi biha 6 turtieri tondi 11cm.
Niggez il-qiegh ta' kull wahda u kessah fil-frigg ghal 20 minuta.
Sajjar l-ghagina ghaliha ('blind') ghal 10 minuti f'forn shun Gas Mark 6 (200 deg. C). Biex issajjar l-ghagina ghaliha trid tiksiha bil-foil u tferrex ftit fazola niexfa fuqha. X'hin tnehhiha mill-forn nehhi l-foil u l-fazola.
Sahhan iz-zejt u qalli fih il-basal sakemm jirtab. Mieghu zid it-tewm, il-kumplament tal-haxix u l-hwawar. Ghatti t-tahlita u tektek ghal 15-il minuta. Imbaghad qassam it-tahlita fit-turtieri.
Habbat il-bajda, single cream u l-gobon flimkien, zid ftit bzar u melh u ferrex it-tahlita fuq il-mili tat-torti. Sajjar it-torti ghal 20 minuta f'Gas mark 5 (190 deg. C.)
